  1. I'm wondering if your low calorie intake is affecting you mentally. I've read experiment done a while back shows that low food intake can have serious psychological effect.

I know the experiment was long term, but you are looking pretty lean. I think your body is running out of things to pull reserves from.

The amount of calorie you burn from the P90X alone is equivalent to what you intake.

You are going much lower than the P90X program recommends.

  2. Ok, I did a little research and found out that you need at least 1800 calories to function correctly.

"As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low."

    Calorie calculator:

This explains why the P90x program recommends 1800 calories intake for level 1 weight and 2400 calories for level 2. I think you are level 2.

  3. Forgot to mention at such a low calorie intake, you are probably losing a lot of muscle mass. Your body will trigger its defense mechanism and you will feel more tired and weak.

  4. I agree with Hieu. You should be eating more calories. It's alright to drop to around 1000 for a short time but you shouldn't do it long time. Jebus man, you are freaking ripped! You have succeeded! Take some time off your diet and eat some cake or KFC or something. You have earned it. Up your calories to at least 1600 from now on, I doubt it will increase your BF% and you might actually get bigger muscles. At the rate you are going I think eventually your body will start absorbing your muscle to make up for your caloric deficiency.

  5. thanks for your concerns Hieu, but i already knew that. I done 6+ hours of researching my diet reading Muscle and fitness, bodybuilding.com etc.. i explained it way earlier in my blogs. I'm not really tired or weak. It not really affecting me mentally either. just stupid drama in my family that stress me out. believe me i go through it every single day. It just got me pretty bad about things, but getting over it. Don't worry I'm not starving myself, just eating things that are very nutritious and little to no calories foods. will update blog soon :D
